Antarctica Expedition
An eleven-day expedition to the seventh continent aboard the Heritage Discoverer, which carries a maximum of 120 guests: two days crossing the Drake Passage, five exploring the Antarctic Peninsula by Zodiac among icebergs, penguin colonies, seals and peak-season whales, and two days back at sea. Landing sites are decided by ice and weather, as they are on every Antarctic sailing.
The ship is chartered in full for the group. Shabbat is spent at anchor within view of the ice rather than under way. Kosher River Cruise's published standard is Glatt Kosher throughout, with all meat glatt, all dairy cholov yisroel and pas yisroel for all breads and cakes; the galley is led by master kosher chef Malcolm Green. No outside certifying agency is named, so confirm the supervision with them before booking.
Kosher River Cruise describe this departure as preliminary: the final ship assignment, itinerary, programme and pricing are subject to change. Check the current details with them before committing.
